The Holiday Homes Trust’s caravan at Blue Dolphin Holiday Park, Filey is accessible for wheelchair users with it’s own parking space, ramp access, a spacious wet room and two twin bedrooms. There is also an additional double sofa bed in the lounge.  (Guests will need to bring their own linen and towels).

Blue Dolphin Holiday Park sits on a high cliff edge close to the scenic Yorkshire Moors. This holiday park is just a few miles from Scarborough town and the gorgeous sandy beaches.

The Park has both heated indoor and outdoor pools with multi-lane waterslide, a fishing lake crazy golf, laser combat and archery. The indoor Sports Dome has a climbing wall and roller disco. The Show Bar hosts regular entertainment for all the family. The weekly price include use of the Charity’s Friends and Family Haven passes.

Local attractions include the North Yorkshire Moors –where you can ride the classic steam trains that run between Pickering and Whitby; Scarborough’s Sea Life Aquarium and Flamingo Land theme park with rollercoasters and wild animals like flamingos, sea lions and meerkats. York is a bit further away where you can visit The Dungeons, York Minster and the Jorvik Viking Centre.

They were founded in 1969, by a group of former Scouts who believed that everyone is entitled to the same quality of life, and deserve the freedom to have fun and relaxation. They own 10 self-catering caravans for holiday rental by individuals or families and people with disabilities and their carers. Eight of the ten caravans are wheelchair accessible
