Rebecca Cottage an award winning, adapted, wheelchair accessible holiday cottage in Carnoustie that can comfortably accommodate 7 guests plus a travel cot. The cottage sits directly on the beachfront and all its rooms have spectacular uninterrupted views of the sea.
There is a parking space directly opposite the cottage and the accommodation is accessed via a ramp and an automatic door. The ground floor comprises of a conservatory, open plan living/dining room, utility room with laundry facilities and an adapted kitchen with lowered counter-tops, gas hob, sink and low level oven. The back door leads to a private hard-standing patio with outdoor seating.
Rebecca Cottage has two ground-floor bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a single room with a Sidhill profiling bed and ceiling hoist leading into the large accessible wet-room which has a step-free shower, fixed grab-rails in the shower, a wall-mounted shower chair, wheeled shower chair, a bath accessible by ceiling hoist, Clos-o-Mat WC, drop-down grab-rails either side of WC, wheel-under washbasin with fixed grab-rails and a mobile hoist.
There is a stairlift providing access to the first floor which comprises of a twin room, a stunning double sitting/ bedroom, and a modern wet room which has a step-free shower and fixed grab-rail.
The Cottage has free Wi-Fi and central heating throughout.
Rebecca Cottage is situated in Carnoustie, a small seaside town on the Angus Coast of Scotland. Guests can enjoy the beach directly opposite the cottage and are in ideal location for exploring the Angus coast and countryside. Dundee’s shops, museums, and heritage attractions and also within easy driving distance.
Rebecca Cottage is owned by the Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland charity but booking is open to all. They offer a 35% discounts to members and a 20% discount to blue badge holders.
