A wheelchair accessible caravan located on the Brynteg Country & Leisure Retreat, in the foothills of Snowdonia National Park.
The caravan has its own reserved disabled parking space, ramp access, and a spacious accessible wet room. Inside, the layout is light and welcoming, with an open-plan living and dining area featuring comfortable sofas, electric fire, Smart TV, and a free-standing dining table and chairs.
The caravan sleeps up to five guests, with:
• One twin bedroom;
• One master bedroom, configurable as a double or twin; and
• A small double sofa bed in the lounge.
The accessible wet room includes a step-free, roll-in shower with fixed grab rails, a wall-mounted shower seat, and a WC with a drop-down grab rail.
The fully fitted kitchen has lowered worktops and a wheel-under sink, along with a fridge, microwave, and oven.
To make your break as stress-free as possible, the following are included:
• Gas and electricity
• Duvets, pillows, and bed linen
• Bath and hand towels and bath mat
• Wi-Fi (free in the caravan and across the park, though it can be patchy due to the rural location)
• A welcome pack with bin bags, washing-up liquid, toilet rolls, tea towels, dishcloth, milk and a traditional Welsh treat (Welsh cakes or bara brith)
Please note: guests will need to bring their own swimming towels.
The Park & Facilities
Brynteg Country & Leisure Retreat is set around a private lake and surrounded by countryside, making it a wonderful place to unwind. Our caravan is located on a flat area of the park but please note that some other areas of the park are hilly; while the internal roads are well surfaced, those using manual chairs may require assistance in places.
The Country Club Restaurant is a short uphill walk from the caravan, with ample parking available outside and The Old Boat House Bar is available for drinks in a beautiful lakeside setting. The Sandcastle Trust guests receive a 20% discount at the park’s bars and restaurants when presenting the owner’s loyalty card.
