Reviews
“Sara’s Cottage is perfectly located in the midst of Cornwall’s stunning countryside, yet close to Truro. This luxury cottage is very accessible, in our view exceeding its accessibility standard rating. Step free everywhere as a matter of course, or with alternative access to the garden lawn. Great and gorgeous wet room bathroom with good rail system to the toilet and shower. The owners have a shed full of equipment to help if needed. Accessibility with a touch of class, not always a thing, but it is at Sara’s Cottage.”
“Excellent home from home. My husband is permanently in a wheelchair, so we are always very careful to find the correct facilities for him, and Sara’s Cottage is ideal. The middle bedroom is large enough for him to be able to get around easily, and the ensuite wetroom is roomy and very accessible, and any extra equipment, such as a shower chair is available on request. The owners are close by and very accommodating and pleasant, and although unobtrusive they are available if there is a problem or query. We loved it so much that we have already booked to stay again.”
“This is the best holiday property we have ever stayed in. Literally every inch of it was clean on our arrival! Terry and Diane have gone to great effort to make the cottage accessible for people with disabilities (our party included a wheelchair user), with a choice of all sorts of equipment you can use during your stay. However, it is so carefully done that if you don’t have a disabled member of your party, it won’t feel ‘adapted’, it is simply a beautiful cottage. We loved our stay here, and definitely hope to return.”
