We are delighted to share details of a wonderful opportunity for a family living with a rare genetic condition. Maison des Landes Accessible Hotel in Jersey has generously donated a five-night family holiday for four guests on a half-board basis, to be taken between 22nd and 30th May 2026.
This generous break includes two rooms for up to a maximum of four guests:
- One Premium Accessible Twin Room (ground floor) for two guests 🛏️
- One Twin Room (first floor) for two guests (please note: access is via 17 stairs and there is no lift)
The Premium Accessible room features a profile bed, a standard bed, a ceiling hoist and a private patio.
Guests will enjoy half-board accommodation, with plenty of time during the day to relax or explore the beautiful island of Jersey. 🌞 There are numerous beaches to discover, with St Brelade’s Bay a particular favourite thanks to its accessible promenade and the added benefit of BeachAbility’s free beach-friendly wheelchair service.
🚢 Travel
The Sandcastle Trust does not usually cover travel costs; however, to help make this opportunity as inclusive as possible, we will provide a gift card to cover the cost of ferry travel for one car. The family will need to arrange and book the ferry crossing.
Due to the hotel’s location, bringing a vehicle to the island is strongly recommended to make getting around during the stay easier.
