Harry is four years old and lives with Dravet Syndrome, a rare, complex genetic condition that causes frequent, unpredictable and often life-threatening seizures. The condition can also affect mobility, development, sleep and communication, creating huge daily challenges for Harry and his whole family. The constant fear, trauma and exhaustion left Harry’s mum, Beth, struggling, with little meaningful emotional support available elsewhere. Thanks to our supporters, The Sandcastle Trust was able to step in with free counselling and family respite opportunities that helped the family cope, rebuild resilience and find hope again.
