Description

A wheelchair accessible, dog friendly caravan located at Riverside Holiday Park in Wooler, Northumberland.

Woodside is a wheelchair accessible caravan with accessible parking, ramped access which has a decked seating area and a gate for the security of pets and toddlers. Inside, the layout is light and welcoming, with wide doorways, an open-plan living and dining area featuring comfortable seating, TV, Wi-Fi, dining table and chairs.

The caravan sleeps up to six guests, with:

  • A twin bedroom with a profiling bed and a standard single bed;
  • One double; and
  • A fold-out double sofa bed in the lounge.

The accessible wet room includes a roll-in shower with grab rails, a wall-mounted shower chair, non-slip flooring, a wheel-under wash basin, and grab rails by the WC.

The fully fitted kitchen has a wheel-under sink and accessible layout suitable for wheelchair users.

To make your break as stress-free as possible, the following equipment is available and located ether in the caravan or the storage area to the rear.

The Park & Facilities

Thurston Manor Holiday Park is set within peaceful woodland, close to the coast, making it a wonderful place to unwind. The park offers a relaxed setting with good access to local amenities and transport links, including rail connections into Edinburgh.

Exploring East Lothian

Northumberland is renowned for its wide sandy beaches, castles and open countryside. Woodside is close to local shops and amenities and provides a peaceful base to explore the surrounding coastline and national park areas.

This caravan is owned and operated by the Scottish charity, Leuchie. The Sandcastle Trust have partnered with Leuchie to provide FREE breaks to families impacted by a rare genetic condition as part of our family respite service in this caravan.
