The property has parking for two cars and paving on the gravel area to allow for easy wheelchair manoeuvrability. Redlands has ramped access and a level interior. Its spacious lounge has comfortable sofas, a riser/recliner armchair, TV and a cosy wood-burning stove. The large kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer and the spacious dining room has seating for six and double doors leading onto a private front patio. There is also a conservatory to the rear of the property with views over the Quantock Hills.
Redlands has a spacious accessible twin bedroom on the ground floor with profiling bed and second single bed, and a single track ceiling hoist over the profiling bed. The bedroom has an en-suite accessible wet-room with step-free shower, fixed grab-rails for shower, washbasin and WC, drop-down grab-rail for WC, single track ceiling hoist over the WC, WC seat raiser, commode shower chair, body dryer, and wheel-under washbasin. A mobile hoist is also available to guests.
Two further bedrooms are situated on the first floor. The en-suite master suite has a king-size bed, dual aspect windows, and en-suite bathroom with bath and large shower cubicle. The second bedroom can be a twin or king sized, it also has an en-suite bathroom with over bath shower.
Redlands is within easy driving distance of a wide range of attractions and activities including Taunton with its many shops, cafes and restaurants, Dunster Castle, Exmoor National Park, the West Somerset Railway and the popular seaside town of Minehead.
